Morey will try for Jimmy Buckets and fail - but his 2nd or 3rd option e.g Tayshaun Prince or Terrance Ross will end up an even better fit for Rockets.

Aaron Gordon is the better trade target IMO. PJ could go back to his more natural position.

We can't re-sign Rivers and Faried easily. We don't have their bird rights so we really can't offer them market value. The only way we'd have a shot at Butler is by trading EG and/or Tucker or other salary. That's not an option for Rivers or Faried, they're already on our team. Unfortunately, that likely means they're gone.

Rivers and Shumpert haven't shot the ball well...MCW, Brandon Knight, basically most of Morey's brilliant roster additions.

Great defense, mediocre offense. Do you want me to answer this objectively or subjectively? I used the former logic.

or how about using reality. 114 offensive rating during this streak. and the regular season #1 rating is 115 (GS). but apparently, the fake news is considered "mediocre offense"

You can use advanced stats all you want. 107-107-94 looks like mediocre offense to me. Should be hitting the 115-125 range.

exactly to you. your eye test doesn't really mean anything. the actual numbers in reality say otherwise

The 121 and 118 probably help. These last 3 games have been pretty bad though. Part of it is the outdated slow pace. The other part is the inconsistent 3P%. Can't go into offensive droughts in the Playoffs.

Bro thats 3 games worth comparing to the whole season, it means absolutely nothing. We are 3 point shooting team, droughts like that happen no matter what, you have to have defense to offset those bad shooting nights and thats what happend. Cmon man even for you this is a little much.

you responded to @D-rock and he specifically asked you about the 8 game winning streak. your response in your MAD manner, mediocre offense. so what, when the numbers were posted that completely discredited your "mediocre" claim, you try and change the narrative. classic cf's

The Rockets are 31-10 in their last 41 games.... that is half a season and some of that is without Paul. The Rockets offense is fine and the defense is actually improving, last I looked they were #5 in the NBA the last month. Harden is banged up, when he recovers their offense will be even better.

Just stop it and appreciate that the Rockets didn’t give up after TERRIBLE depth and injuries to start the season. Most teams give up... the Rockets didn’t. Just enjoy watching the best offensive coach in NBA history, one of the 3-5 best point guards in history and one of the top 20 players ever to play in James Harden, in his prime.

He won't, his job is to like ANY negative posts about the Rockets and post anti-Rockets comments himself. He's either a troll or a very damaged person.

No, this is not the way things work. Work to sign Rivers and Faried with what exactly? We are over the cap and only have one TP MLE and vet mins. Rivers sadly will pass on the vet min as he should. Faried will MAYBE take our full TP MLE for 3 years that we will gladly offer. There is no negotiating. We need Gerald Green because how many players can you count on every year to line up for the vet min and have value. Look at what happened with Melo, MCW, and Ennis. Now you know how things will play out with House in the offseason. We offered the min and he refused. He likely will accept at some point to have a shot as he is a RFA. This is why if you don't understand the CBA you don't understand why everyone on here was so adamant about turning Knight's contract into something productive. You are not signing players, you are using limited contract slots and the only ones of value are through trade. We are in a bad situation and need Shumpert's contract. Otherwise we are left burning EGo or keeping the team as is but losing role players that will not stay for vet min. You have to retain your contract assets. The goal is Harden, Butler, CP3, Capela, Tucker, EGo, Faried, and maybe House with G Green and a couple of ring chasers.

Where is this magic wing that we can acquire? Jimmy Butler plays almost identically to Harden and is a wing that defends the team's best player. He shoots the 3 well off the ball or does a ton of PnR. He is the absolute perfect player left for us out there other than PG13. This is why we went so hard after him and may still in the offseason IF we get a chance. If you understand the CBA you understand that we have squandered assets in the form of contract slots. At this point to get better we either burn EGo or magically find some way to still use Shumpert after wasting Knight's contract. I think our goal as it was in the Butler trade earlier is to squander our draft assets so we can get Butler and keep EGo for the 6th man role he fits best. Rotation of Harden, Butler, CP3, Capela, Tucker, EGo, Faried, House? is the best we can be next season.

Tillman has more money than you probably think. The way morey is creating this team is way ahead of what is on the surface. Tillman is the same way. Billionaires think waaaay down the road.

I think he's talking about cap space.
