Some very sad news

    I'm sorry to be the bearer of sad news, but heard about this and felt we should let others know.

    <a href="http://bbs.clutchfans.net/member.php?u=30698">Landlord Landry</a> died this past week. He was only 32 years old and is survived by four kids. We all knew he was a huge Rockets fan, but he also was a big fan of the Astros and Kansas City Chiefs and had a real passion for music (as many on the board know from his threads).

    I never met him in person, but I wish I had and the news hit me like I had. There are thousands that post here but most of us share a common bond, and as such I still feel like I get to know many personally by reading their thoughts and sharing through the board over years. I was saddened to hear the news.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this time. R.I.P., Landlord Landry :(.

    That is extremely depressing. The guy seemed really nice and my prayers go out to him and his family...

    Heard about this last night and it hit me way hard.

    I think this is the first time I've ever felt like I've lost a member of my bbs family. :(

    i'm a pretty big lurker and rarely post and even though most of us don't really know each other, we still have a bond as clutchfans....RIP Landlord Landry :(

    Clutch...I just lost a best friend today. Something tells me you might be doing this a lot, and you won't be able to keep this up. But it means a lot to people...and you have that touch! Cheers

    Yeah, knew about it almost as soon as it happened and wasn't real sure about posting on it but glad someone did. It's been a rough week, this was the first person I've known to do it and I am not sure I am processing it at all.....man! I only met him once and he helped book 2 shows this year for my band, where ever he is I hope his at peace. RIP Rhien. :(
