First off she’s 6 months old so I don’t think she’ll be putting a bullet in me or anyone else anytime soon unless I have a little John wick on my hands. Secondly I agree with you and I’ve been making this argument for years while rallying for stricter gun restriction laws. I’ve taken all this into consideration and I didn’t make the decision to buy a gun lightly. I’ll be taking every necessary precaution to make sure nothing like that ever happens with my weapon. I’ll be taking gun safety training as soon as it comes in and when she’s old enough she’ll be doing the same. I want the laws changed. I want it to be harder to obtain a gun and I want harsher punishments for those who let their guns fall into the wrong hands. I made this decision based on the inaction of our government to control the situation. Until something changes I felt like this is something I had to do to add an extra layer of protection for us. I hope I’ll never have to use it anywhere but the range.
