Am I the only one worried about this injury? Thought it sort of crept up out of nowhere and haven’t heard much update on it. No timetable no nothing. Really worried it’s similar to Dmo’s injury that kept him out of the playoffs 3 years ago where we think it may be a couple weeks max and it turns out to be season ending.
Who cares we got Tucker, Luc and Joe Johnson to fill his spot. Ryno at his best is an asset to this team. However "normal" Ryno and "scrub" Ryno are replaceable.
Ryan played ok tonight man ... He got stuck on lillard on defense a few times and made him shoot tough shots . MDA was an idiot for only playing him 9 minutes and giving JJ 15 ... Those mins should have gone to ryno
This I agree, jj mins should be reduce not to be given to Gg, as most posters want, but to freaking Anderson. We paid too much for him to play so little. Rockets have already proven they Can play without Anderson, but dude needs to force himself back into the rotation with solid plays. Paid too much to b a player that just sits on bench.
I agree to playing Ryno more than JJ, but I don't think Rockets should feel obligated to play Anderson just because he gets paid so much more than everyone else. I want Anderson to play well, but I don't care if he is getting paid a billion dollars of not my money, If he has to sit to make the Rockets better, so be it. If he plays and he makes the Rockets better. that would be a great result.
Tru. The rockets have shown they can win without Anderson, but having Anderson actually contribute by making dem 3s wouldn't hurt especially in playoffs.
Blazers had what looked like 3 straight plays where they made him switch off the screen than torch him with the ball handler. Didn't look like he was ready yet and the Rockets stream showed him wanting to sub out because he was tired.
He actually did decent in forcing them to take tough shots in a couple of occasions. Definitely better than Joe Johnson. The problem with Ryno isn't defense. It's taking shots. He needs to be more aggressive in launching shots instead of passing up. If only we could channel the inner Gerald Green in Ryan Anderson...
