I think we should hire a head coach perhaps

Like I said, they're going to blame MDA first and get him fired.

It was fine when it was working... and if this a new development, then he's trying something to new to fix the problem. Scouts laughing at that? Unprofessional. Because it's not funny or all that crazy. And the guy just won Coach of the Year.

Alright, everyone wants to question Mike but what about Jeff??? When he got back our defense tanked, but yet no one wants to blame him?? I dont have a problem with that(cause I also believe he'll get that righted) but at least show the same faith in MDA, good grief.

I want him to coach a team without stars, see what he can do, especially without a star PG.

As I said, Mike is not a good coach for an average team. Morey has to use picks to add 3 rotation players as soon as possible.

Mike would be a good coach if he coaches "completely-healthy" GS this season.

MDA went with the flow last year in an ISO heavy offense system because it worked.

Now that ISO isn't operating on the same level of elite efficiency, does he want to go back to the offensive system he knows? If so, is he getting pushback from players and/or the Front Office?

    I love it.

Recognize and trust your playmakers. Put Harden at the point. Trade for Chris Paul. They're smart. They know the game. Give them the best teammates and plays you can. Talk to them between games, on the bench, and in huddles. And let them do the rest.

I've been wondering what's taking him so long to bring back some aspects of the 7 Seconds or Less* offense. The ISO stuff isn't nearly as effective as it was last year, and when you add the emphasis on freedom of motion, it seems like we'd excel at that (assuming Harden buys in, of course).

    * Grammatically, it should be 7 Seconds or Fewer, dammit.

Phoenix in the past had some of the best shooters.

We have mediocre ones. It would not work that well. But we can still use the 7 seconds to 10 seconds in other ways, getting to the rim.

The shotclock resetting to 14 instead of 24 should have made this organization change its mindset *sigh*

Give any coach a team with No stars and see how well they do? Like, how many good teams dont have great Pointguards/Playmakers in this league?
