Production value seems kind of low. Instead of epic scope, I'm getting an intimate closed in kind of vibe from the trailer. A bit disappointed.
I guess there's still an audience for this, but I haven't been interested in another Terminator movie since T3 happened to me.
Seems like I saw the whole movie in the trailer. Not a good sign. I generally try to avoid trailers but glad I caught this one.
I know he's not directing, but has been pretty hands on with this sequel, so I'm not doubting James Cameron just yet. The trailer definitely has his stamp, though the CGI doesn't look particularly good. Still, it's got me interested.
"Ending at T2 would've been best. But the #Terminator franchise can’t be reasoned with. It feels no pity, remorse or fear. And it absolutely will not stop - EVER - until we're all dead."
That was cringe. T1 and T2 is all you need. Remember that arcade game back in the 90s? **** was dope. I think I played it at studio 30 Dunvalle.
This one? I remember finally figuring out that the little red button on the gun was for grenades and then still ****ing dying.
The Terminator franchise is the movie equivalent of (Rockets Legend) Juwan Howard. Started off with a bang, then kept cashing checks and putting up empty calories numbers for years and years.
Knowing Cameron was involved and Hamilton was back got my interest. Hamilton looks good in the preview. But other than that, not much interested me. None of the new characters jump off the page to me. The android "I am human" thing was done in Terminator Salvation (which I really liked and feel it is underrated). I am willing to give it a try, but I am not as excited as I was before.
Even the chases and violence felt reheated in that preview. Hopefully they're saving the good/new stuff.
I have mixed feelings. The franchise is the same old story... sometimes the movies are good, sometimes they're not. But their choice for director and producer are excellent. It has a chance to be a good movie.
Ok, So above was my initial thoughts. But after seeing the NEW FULL trailer I am feeling a bit better about the movie and have a bit more interest. So kudos to them for cutting that newer trailer. I just don't know if I will see it in the theaters yet or not. Man, I still have such a bad taste in my mouth from the Terminator Geneysis movie.
