I voted Rockets in 6. Harden appears to be at a level that I think OKC will have trouble beating, but half our rotation has been troubling. Westbrook’s bubble play and now injury concern aren’t helping things.
I don't think that's fair to say about one of our former players. CP3 was killing in that playoff series against the Worriers. We had them Worriers on the ropes before his infamous hammy injury.
He and Nerlens Noel are gimpy. We need to run them both until their wheels fall off. Although I like both players, Noel will be tougher because he can defend perimeter. And Lu Dort just suffered a knee injury vs. MIA.
Kind of like Chris Paul every playoffs his entire career? You see, this game is easy if the players have not won a ring. I will take the best player in the NBA in his prime over a declining 34 year old injury prone player who has a reputation for choking (see what I did there?) in the playoffs.

Sure there are easier paths but if you can't beat okc then you weren't beating Lal or lac anyways. So losing in round 2 vs round 1, just a matter of saving face.
Let them try. While PJ and RoCo have struggled with their shot, it's still playing with fire giving these guys open looks every possession.

You know how I know Harden is tiers better than Paul? Paul's career is now all about beating Harden. Harden's career is still all about winning the title.
We're definitely the favorites here if Westbrook is even close to healthy but it's gonna be a tight series. They have multiple quick ball handlers who can exploit some of our weaker defenders and they always seem to execute in the clutch. Fortunately though I feel like Adams and Noel will be mostly unplayable this series. They're too slow to defend small ball and don't have the post moves to exploit our size. Adams might have a 20 reb game in there somewhere but honestly he'd be giving so many points the other way it wouldn't matter and eventually I can see them running Gallo at center to match us and the paint will be wide open. I voted for Rockets in 6 cause there might be a 9/50 from 3 game in there somewhere and a really hot game from them but any normal game should go to us.
