For what exactly?

You can't suspend players for trying to diffuse a situation.

So we currently have Ariza who is the firing line for a suspension.

That's my take on things, of course it is the NBA and this is the Rockets.

So maybe some Malace in the Palace type suspensions is more likely.

is ESPN reported that Ariza was flanked by three teammates—Harden, Paul and Gerald Green—but their purpose was unclear. “They were holding Trevor back,” the source said.

Seems like if Harden, Paul and Green were there to hold Ariza back there should be no punishment... CP3's name has come up a lot here, as a guy who knew of a "secret tunnel" or something. But again, if you read the article, it seems like Ariza was already in the secret tunnel before CP3 even left the court (as Ariza was ejected). This isn't surprising... Ariza also used to play in the Staples Center. Also, this isn't surprising, because this kind of fits with Ariza's personality.

If the article is accurate, and the NBA does a solid job investigating, Ariza and Blake should be suspended. How may games to be determined...

I feel like everyone in the league wants to beat the crap out of Austin Rivers & Blake too. Would be wonderful to watch.

 

I have no problems with the team responding the way they did, you have to keep punks in line after a cheap shot like that. I'd be fine with a one game suspension as long as Flake gets no less than 15 games, you cannot normalize this ****.

Seriously, people complaining about bad looks, possible suspensions, and fake tough guys. This s**t last night was pure entertainment. You can't get this stuff anywhere else.

You end up forgetting 98% of the games you watch, because regular season basketball games don't really mean s**t. But I'm gonna remember this, easily the highlight of 2018 so far. I probably made more GARM posts last night then I have all year so far.
