If they are at UCLA, aren't those college 3s?

I hope they aren't forcing Russ to take more 3s.

I remember MCW hitting 3s in one of these videos so I'll be skeptical till proven otherwise.

Would you rather him shoot 30% from 3 or 35% from midrange? Or I guess he could just not shoot at all?

As long has he doesn't shoot a lot of mid-range jumpers, i'm fine with Russ' game. He'll shoot 35% from 3 in MDA's system. The majority of his offense needs to come from attacking the rim with the ball or playing off-ball and cutting to the rim. He'll also facilitate a lot of scoring by drawing so much attention and kicking out to our shooters. Like i said ...as long as he's not jacking up mid-range shots, this should work.

hes never shot 35% in his 11 year career thus far. I get the hope but the expectations are a bit much to it all of a sudden happening. more than anything, his shot selection needs to improve and at the right times he makes teams pay for not guarding him out at the 3 pt line

He hasn't shot 35% from deep in any season to date, even when he played with Harden and Durant to draw defensive attention. Is assuming a career high really reasonable?

Agreed about shot selection. But he did shoot 34.3% 2016-2017. I think 35% is a realistic possibility where he'll get more open looks and where he'll be carrying less of the load.

Might as well disappear Vincent Edwards. I am not sure he is under contract right now on that 2-way from last season.

You are absolutely right hes not good 3 point shooter, but theres an excepetion ,last year he shot 37% from corner 3s ,so like another commentator said shot selection is key.

Yep - his attitude and buy-in are key. If he decides he's ready to change his game to be more efficient (fewer midrange, more driving and corner 3s, etc), his transformation could be huge. If not, he'll likely continue to frustrate.

Hey, MCW hit the 3 that originally set the 3-pointers made record.
