A true legend died today! I've read that he was a difficult person to work with and could be rude at times, BUT, his comedic genius and his dedication to help people that were/are afflicted with MDA is something to be admired! I have many good memories sitting in front of the tv and watching some of his movies! Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis were comedy gold!!!

Que en paz descanse, Mr. Joseph Levitch!!!

I flipped out when Jerry and Dino broke up. They were just huge at the time, raking it in with the films and Vegas, and certainly seemed to still be great together, and to be great friends. It was a major shock for the country. I was a big fan and remained a big fan of both after they went their separate ways. All those years after the split, I still missed seeing them together on screen. The comedy was priceless. What a sad day.

Buddy Love is supposed to be very close to how the "real" Jerry Lewis was off-stage.

It's that time! I guess we will get to see it now. Can't wait.

1956 so Deckard was either a very aware kid or about 85

2025 is when they can legally release it. Right now it doesn't have the proper music, but Lewis kept notes on what music was appropriate so it can be added. It has been confirmed that the last scene is a crying Jerry Lewis entertaining laughing children as he leads them into the gas chamber as the camp commanders look on. The actress that was on set and witnessed the scene said it is the most inappropriate and disgusting spectacle she has ever seen.

As for Decker, I am fairly certain he is 150 years old. I remember his tales about his father fighting for the Confederacy and then Decker going to France to fight the Kaiser during WWI; and befriending an owl that became his pet and having sex with some French chick before getting a blowie in the old Colt 45 Buff's stadium from a young Lady Bird Johnson while Lyndon Johnson went off about his bung hole.

If you are going to carry on about my finer qualities, at least spell my moniker right! You aren't an android by any chance, are you? Be careful how you answer. I didn't turn in my blaster when I retired.

Haha I am on an IPhone that loves to change spellings. Also, what happened to the owl? Did you keep it until it passed away? The family that lives on my land in Northern Ireland has a pet owl and said it is difficult to take care of.

He eventually moved on to a friend who had a much larger place. Yes, he got a bit feisty, especially when he started flying. Loved earthworms and raw meat, which was a bit messy. I still have a big wire cage I made for Chump dismantled and up in my attic. He usually went where he liked in my garage apartment, but I would put him in his cage when I wasn't home. Truly a trippy creature, the way he could turn his head around and look right at you. I think he ended up at the zoo.
