Is it even the best submarine movie?

    Honest question.

McFarland is the other documentary on HULU, "Fyre Fraud". I watched both this week. The Netflix one is better.

Haven't seen the Hulu video but watched the Netflix documentary and was pretty entertained. Apparently, the Netflix version was produced by the same media company that Fyre hired to advertise, and people are saying that the media company is mostly spinning their involvement in promoting Fyre Fest to be less culpable.

How do you feel about that having watched both? I do plan on watching the Hulu documentary. Others have said it's more objective. The Netflix one had more behind the scenes footage since it was produced by the Fyre Fest promoters, but I could see it being biased.

it's not just a submarine movie. it has multiple flavors - seal ground forces, air, warships, kremlin and washington political fights. And then there's that one idiot. Just like in America. :). Pure entertainment.

Watched The Goonies for the first time in a while last night. It's funny the kind of stuff you used to be able to get away with in kids movies. Chunk gets a freshly murdered corpse draped all over him and then nearly gets his hand chopped up in a blender. Jokes about Sloth being deformed because Ma Fratelli kept dropping him as a baby before they started chaining him up in a dingy basement. Constant fat jokes about Chunk (and he's really not even that fat). Brand gets run off the road in a cruel prank that would most likely kill a real person. The Fratellis generally trying to torture or murder all the heroes. It's still a pretty entertaining movie, although the kids are so hyper that a lot of their scenes feel like they're shouting over each other constantly.

Enjoyable but definitely over the top. The plot isn't as weak as some folks have told me, but for something that is based off a comic, it's right up that genre of cheesy acting. Black Kaiser felt out of place with his subdued emotions but it's that cool calm demeanor that makes him a badass. Sindy.......'nuff said

Part 2 (Ant-Man and the Wasp) is out on Netflix now.

It's basically a fun Marvel movie and don't expect to give it anything above that 6.5 that you gave the original.

You might have to watch it before you watch Avengers: End Game... might

Tag was ok. 6/10. I wanted to see how it would end. They went for the sentimental ending even though I thought for sure he was faking the whole thing and the ending would be dumb. So actually a better ending revealed, but I still felt like I wanted to the guy to get away untagged.

    The Autopsy of Jane Doe

3/5 - Good horror movie, not extremely gory but it had its moments. It was tense at times and I had to watch it with the lights on, some parts were creepy.
