I think with the intro act out of the way, the 2nd movie will be much improved. Cumberbatch and Ejiofor should knock it out of the park.
He really is... Serenity, Inside Man, Children of Men, American Gangster, 12 Years a Slave... he elevates everything he's in.
Haven't seen Inside Man but agree with the others listed. After 12 Years I assumed he was going to be in a ton of big films. I'm surprised his presence hasn't been greater.
You're the second person in about a month who has said that. First guy had always thought it was my real name.
Dude... Inside Man... maybe one of my favorite movies this century. It's excellent. Highly recommended.
been on a Colin Farrell kick Ondine (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1235796/ London Boulevard (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1213648/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_19 The camera loves him. Enjoyed both films.
That is a GREAT movie. The Mummy sucks. It just straight sucks. I knew it would suck. I know Tom Cruise sucks. I was not disappointed.
The wife and I watched (one of) Paul Thomas Anderson's masterpiece Boogie Nights last night (available on Amazon Prime along with Magnolia and There Will Be Blood). Probably the 5th time I've seen it. Can I just give Boogie Nights an 11/10? Jesus it's so good. Funny, sad, tense, sexy... and all shot like a coke-addled Martin Scorsese was directing. And the cast... Burt Reynolds Mark Wahlberg Julianne Moore Heather Graham John C. Reilly Phillip Seymour Hoffman Don Cheadle William H. Macy Thomas Jane Alfred Molina Phillip Baker Hall Ricky Jay I'm probably leaving someone out... and it was PTA's first ****ing movie!! We'll just call it a 10/10. True masterpiece.
Actually, Hard Eight was his first movie, and that's a good one too. Uses many of the same actors as Boogie Nights.
You're right!! My bad... I've seen Hard Eight and totally forgot it existed. Great Phillip Baker Hall performance in that movie.
The Big Sick - 9/10 rom com Based loosely on a real story. Boy meets girl. Girl goes into a coma. They live happily ever after.
Spiderman: 8.4/10 Tom Holland was by far my favorite Spidey, thought aunt may (ailf) was a little forced & Tony was a bit of a dick but loved everything else. Also Spoiler Who says no to being an Avenger...
i hope he won't ever figure out that uncle stark has been hitting aunt may when he's not around. they'll eventually get caught, spidey is a sneaky bisch.
foot loose (2011). 5/10. Not as bad as I thought it would be. I had been avoiding it for five years. The movie starts off in a complete mind ***** as hipster teenagers are at a party drinking and listening to "foot loose" so it takes place in the foot loose original realm In what turns out to be a fatal mistake, the drunk kids in the car start to air guitar in the most catchy part of kenny loggin's masterpiece. Booooom. Car hits truck. all five hipster kids die thus the town bans music and installs a 10:30 pm curfew. At some point you'd think the characters in the movie would be like, "Hey, I'm living a real life footloose!?"
Can you compare the acting and plot to Jupiter Ascending? Hopefully the acting was better than Mila Kunis, who is a complete joke as a lead actress.
