not in the Houston area, but received an emergency text from Fort Bend county (it also called me...) saying 12" of rain in 4hrs in some parts....that's insane.
I really like how we decided to go ahead and paint the state borders in a very thick, bright white paint so it could be easily picked up on satellite!

Kingwood was under water yesterday (again). Couldn't even get to my house. We had to sleep at my in-laws. Finally got here this morning. Thank goodness no water in the house. It came right up to our doorstep. It didn't even make it that far during Harvey. Can Kingwood catch a break? We got hammered Friday too, and a school teacher my wife knew was killed.
Yeah...but rain is in the forecast for nearly every day of the next 2 weeks. Sunday and Monday should be nice. But tomorrow through Saturday is going to be a pounding, especially on the north and northeast side. News tonight said 7"-10" in the next few days. @ima_drummer2k and you other Kingwood peeps...stay dry and be careful.
