LOL... Rasmussen poll: Comey more trusted than Trump 45%-37% (before testimony). Love to see it now... bet the gap increases. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...on/june_2017/comey_edges_trump_in_voter_trust ABC poll about same time: http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/07/politics/donald-trump-james-comey-poll/index.html Meanwhile, Trump's overall favorability numbers continue to drop (RCP average dropped to 39%).
Comey's testimony seems fully in line with all the facts we have up to this point, and in keeping with the personality of Trump that he's laid bare for all to see. Trump has already contradicted himself on the firing and on many other things, so he hasn't been credible from day 1. The funny thing, with Trump, is he denies ever asking for loyalty from Comey, but at the same time says there'd be nothing wrong if he had done so. How can anyone take this guy seriously?
Where are trump's supporters? The voting couldn't be more one sided at 44 to 1, last time I looked. I guess it could be 45-0.
Yay... two brave souls snuck in and placed their votes for Trump. No w lets see if they are even braver by taking credit for their votes.
Brave isn't the adjective I'd use to describe those two voters. Delusional is more like it. Every Trump supporter knows he lies through his teeth. What is baffling is why they aren't comfortable calling him out on it. When you cast a vote for someone, that doesn't mean that you must provide them with blind allegiance. This is coming from a Republican, by the way.
It can't be stated enough that Comey testified under oath. Bill Clinton was nearly removed from office for lying about a blowie and Comey just went under oath and told the world in writing and verbally that Trump is a liar and potentially committed obstruction among other unethical items. I get that normally Comey would receive scrutiny for what he says or does given the Hillary situation but I don't think people understand what Comey just did from a legal standpoint and if he's proven to be lying he's going to jail. Tell why anyone with that much experience in law would think twice about taking that risk just for the purpose of having an axe to grind? I have to believe Comey because I can't believe he would be that stupid.
There is a guy in my department at the hospital who I consider to be a pathological liar. In his case, he lies because he is lazy. He has been written up by a nurse for not performing an ultrasound procedure by stating that that the patient refused the exam when in reality the patient never did. This guy lies so much he can't keep a story straight. I can't wait till he is fired. Trump reminds me of this dude. Nobody is perfect, but some people appear to strive to be just scum.
I'm a republican as well. Just not fond of the sewage that trump is. It gets to a point where people seriously have to look at what they stand for.
They don't care. They want something new because the old has not really worked for them. Simplest explanation.
This will end well for Trump. Even if Trump has yet to commit a crime, there is no way Trump cannot not tell a lie for the duration of a Mueller deposition.
Trump’s son seems to confirm Comey’s account of the president’s comments on the Flynn investigation https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...esidents-comments-on-the-flynn-investigation/
