I think for whatever reason you may allow guests to vote in the polls and it's clear there's a barrage of guests trolling the polls. Maybe only allowing registered users to vote in polls would give a better reflection. Just a suggestion.
Yeah, I am not sure what the use of polls are if trolls/bots/viruses/bacterias/whatever flood the site just to vote. I like CometWin's idea but not sure how easy/hard/practical it is for Clutch to implement this.
Why not ban non-public polls? Wouldn't that solve a lot of "The Poll Problems?" And I agree, of course, that voting in polls here should only be allowed for registered members. What Clutch did yesterday exposed just what has been happening here far to often, in my humble opinion. ClutchFans being trolled by a few people with an agenda. I don't doubt that this wasn't the first time it happened, either. Kudos to our Fearless Leader, Clutch, for taking decisive action. It was sorely needed.
I routinely troll polls, and I'm registered. I thought the whole point of the non-scientific poll is to see how outrageous a statistic you could manage to produce.
