Iran to the Democratic party is somehow similar to Israel for the Republicans, after all ,the so called Islamic Revolution had Jimmy Carter's blessings from the beginning,
the most outrageous part of the nuclear deal is the part in which Obama granted 2800 Green cards to relatives of the Iranian regime, while an average Iranian sell their children,kidney,..... etc just to survive

 

I don't think he felt a particular need to just get any sort of win, as you imply here. I think they thought the Iran deal was worth pursuing and would benefit America, so they got it. I don't know if the deal was wise or unwise, and I don't really think any of us know enough about everything going on there to have an educated opinion on it. I trusted Obama to make the best decision he could make, and now I guess I'll have to trust Trump to make the best decision he can make.

@Exiled, still disagree but why are you still talking about the Shah and Jimmy Carter? Not to say history is irrelevant but some things have happened since then that have changed the landscape.
