Onix is the weakest Pokemon that doesn't evolve, and it isn't even close. Now, that might change as they release future generations and we can start evolving Onix, but for now, there is no point.
They are all over the place here in Austin, but I rarely ever find and ones worth keeping with a high IV and CP.
Just installed it again after two months abscence, the new gen and other changes made it more fun. Seems Niantic is finally waking up.
Anyone been playing during the Fire & Ice event? Think I'll hit lvl 40 this weekend, and then I'll be gifting my account to my nephew.
Starting with nothing and catching new Pokemon is by far the most fun thing about this game though, not sure how much fun your nephew would have with a maxed out account. The game is basically over at this point, unless you're heavily into gym battling. The excitement of seeing a Pokemon for the first time and catching it is what the game is largely about, his experience would be seriously diminished.
The game could be a lot more fun. Yes, in the beginning, it was fun to catch new Pokemon. The reality is most people dont have time to run around hunting for the super rare ones. They really need to expand it into a muliplayer experience and stray away from getting people out and about.
Probably have designated spots, not so many - mostly in downtown areas, easily reachable and known. Then the normal, rare, epic, legendary ones appear.
They have SOOO much muddling in their market. They are doing what Sega did near its end. The 3DS, Switch and phone can do all of this, which do you choose? I would say if Nintendo is smart they do all three but that's really hard. But think about it, what if you could play a nintendo game on any device? I would love them to do that.
Anyone playing Magikarp Jump? Game is addicting on another level, separate from "Pokemon Go!" Don't need wifi/data to play it, and it's a great time-waster of a game.
