Before anyone says it, Nintendo was not the first to do this.

I am intrigued, depends on the full game list.

FWIW the superior at the time graphics of the PS1 don't age nearly as well as the not trying to be realistic graphics of the earlier consoles.

Hard to think of a console people would want less than a PS1.

If there was a Dreamcast classic I'd jump on that in a heartbeat.

I think I had just as much memories/fun playing on a Dreamcast as I did with the NES/SNES.

That thing was way ahead of it's time, but with all things Sega, it found a way to fail.

I don't know how many hours I put into Crazy Taxi and Soul Caliber on that. But yes agree that Sega did what Sega does.

$100 and only 3 confirmed titles is a bit much. It isn't like I don't have FFVII on PC, PS3, PS4, and PS already.

Are you kidding? Sega Saturn failed because its horrible timing and technology, but they produced some excellent games for that system. If anything, Sega Saturn would be one of the best mini systems...you could play rare and excellent games without having to spend a lot of money standing up a working system and purchasing collectible games.

Microsoft gives their users backward compatibility for free with Xbox One, and they have more than 550 titles already supported with new ones being added weekly. With the proliferation of emulators and better options out there, I have no idea how these retro gaming units make money. The companies are literally just bilking customers with a sub-par experience that takes more entertainment center space, another TV input and another power outlet.

I mean, it would have to be on there.

Sony owns the publishing rights, and it's a game that screams early playstation. It was literally the first playstation game I ever played when my cousin got his back in 95.

Crash Bandicoot, Metal Gear Solid, Tomb Raider 2, Castlevania. If this is a proper greatest hits of the OG playstation then I will be on board. If I'm willing to pay 60 dollars for one new game, 100 for a well done collection of my favorites is an easy call.

    I don't know...

...but I have an NES & SNES Classic. I didn't think I'd buy them at first because I just download the titles I want on Virtual Console, and download emulators for ones they don't have. How many different ways do I need to own the same game? Apparently it is at least 5.
