    This.

It’s so easy to be armchair QB. The only thing that I feel can be questioned is taking Greinke out. Still doesn’t mean that ZG would have done well if kept in.

Harris was nails ALL YEAR (except the game before) and Hinch trusted him. I don’t question the move.

Cole was probably coming in to pitch the 8th and 9th if the team had the lead, it just didn’t turn out that way.

Blame the hitting or lack there of especially with RISP. That was the series. The team struggled like hell to score when they could have distanced themselves in quite a few of the losses.

All postseason the team flirted with losing and it caught up to them in the WS.

Just because Cole was available doesn’t mean he would have succeeded. You’re asking him to come out of the pen with a man on, never before doing it and on short rest no less.

People bashing JV is ridiculous to me. We never make it that far without JV.

Plain and simple the team ( especially the offense) just didn’t perform when it mattered most; they just didn’t.

Moreover, they are now 2-7 in World Series games played at MMP (0-2 in 2005, 2-1 in 2017, and 0-4 in 2019). I get it is the World Series and the other guys are really, really good, but that seems like such an anomaly/outlier than the run up to the World Series and how the teams play at home.

People like you dont get it dude. No body is saying it was a bad pitch. It was that Howie say enough tape of harris where he was able to guess correctly. I dont understand how some fans do not understand the concept that we had the best pitcher in the league called GERRIT COLE.

Game tied 20 seconds left nd Bulls are down by 3. Whos dribbling that ball? Jordan or fkin Steve Kerr?

Give the fkin ball to your best player in the most pivotal part of the game. If we did not have the best player in the world then by all means give the ball to Harris. When you have someone whos the MOST TALENTED PITCHER IN THE WORLD, you give him the ball to let him lose or win the game. This is what analytics and geeks dont get. Sometimes you have to factor in the human element and just give the ball to your horse and say ima ride or die with you tonight.

As fans we'll rather die with Cole then Harris ANY DAY.

My only issue was pulling Greinke that early but mostly why tf was Osuna pitching for so long....Putting in Harris for 1-2 outs isn't a bad idea considering hes been a great pitcher but cmon if Verlander or Cole did what grienke did, do they get pulled?. 3-2 Should not mean mail it in, I have never seen Osuna pitching for more than 1 inning, the guy was in there for almost 2 yesterday with 2 outs and pitched balls in the dirt and way high consistently. Should have been pulled after that in field hit prior to Soto, don't understand why so much trust for Osuna but yet so little trust in Grienke. Don't even want to mention Smith but still sent a wierd message that they were done

Didn't pick us to lose, just gently reminding you that Scherzer not going game 5 was not a good thing, Captain America.

Springer, Altuve, Brantley, Bregman were a combined 3 for 32 for Game 6 & 7.

Clutch? lol . All that talk Bregman then? And does anyone know where the Tuve from the ALCS went?

Please don't use a basketball analogy to justify your baseball argument. Cole may be the best pitcher in the game, but he had never come out of the bullpen before in his career and was on two days rest. And not only that but you're asking him to come into the game in the middle of an inning with a runner on base. That's a pretty wildcard scenario. In hindsight, Greinke should have been allowed to finish the frame and bring in Cole for the 8th and 9th. But you don't bring in Cole in the middle of an inning. Trust your starter pitching a 2 hitter.

I thought in game if we're going relief Urquidy was the guy. Harris had been burned night prior. Cole could of been used as 2nd hammer for close.

A.J. Hinch said he and Gerrit Cole had "agreed upon" two rules before Game 7: he was not coming in the middle of an inning and he was not coming in a game Houston was trailing

Gerrit Cole and AJ Hinch had agreed on some rules for how he would be used in Game 7. He wasn’t coming in in the middle of the inning and wasn’t pitching if they didn’t have the lead.

Cole warmed up on his own earlier in the game.

Jeff Luhnow says he expects the coaching staff to return for 2020.

"The Nats outplayed us at the worst time for us," A.J. Hinch said.

AJ Hinch says Will Harris is one of the best he’s ever managed. “His accountability after Game 7 is exactly who he is.” Said he made his pitch and got beat.

“We might not get back to Houston for Game 6 and 7 if Will Harris doesn’t pitch well in Washington.”

"We had to make a decision on whether regular relievers who had been elite during the World Series, rested guys, were going to be a better option than Gerrit. We all know how it played out," Hinch said.

“If you don’t enjoy some of the good, even in the misery of losing a Game 7 of the World Series, sports is going to be really hard for you.” -AJ Hinch

“...I want us to hurt for the right amount of time and then I want us to relish that we’re in the midst of some incredible accomplishments.”

This can mostly be forgiven if we win next year.

    Four consecutive 100-Win seasons
    Three WS appearances
    Two Championships
    =
    One Dynasty
One of the greatest teams ever
