Get our god damned asses handed to us by a couple tomato cans and AAAA players and kids that can’t even drink yet. Pull your head out of your collective asses and remember you are playing the White Sox.

Last year Bregman put the team on his back through a good stretch. Where you at Bregs?

Maybe this 2 game stretch will prompt the FO to bring up Alvarez.

Yeah Bregman hasn't quit put it together yet. Has great power numbers but he's a better overall hitter than he's shown so far.

Astros pitchers are great at *not* getting DPs.

IIRC, it took two weeks to snag our first GIDP of the season.

It's pretty normal to have a couple of terrible games after a long winning streak, doesn't mean I like it.

Remember when the bottom of the order went nuts for about 4 straight games? That was cool.

He's at career highs in OBP, SLG, and OPS right now. I think y'all might have some unrealistic expectations.

Edit: And he's been even better than that over the last couple of weeks.

He tends to begin slowly, but we're over a quarter into the season now.

There is a world of difference between Springer/Altuve/Chirinos and Kemp/Diaz/Stassi.

I remember seeing an interview where he said himself he doesn't feel he's putting it all together at the plate so he has higher expectations for himself.

Lowest OBP allowed, most Ks, average GB/FB ratio. 3 of the top 4 teams in R/G (Hou/Cle/Min) are also the 3 of the 4 worst in the AL in turning DPs. Tampa is the exception.

Up to this point, this game has been thoroughly unsatisfying.

He's been dropping his back shoulder and hitting way too many lazy fly balls.

I don't remember the exact time but it was a pregame show or Astros bases loaded interview pretty recently
