O'Brien's "it's on me" and taking accountability without actually taking accountability shtick is getting tiresome. Don't just say it's your fault, say why it's your fault, explain what the hell was happening in those last 10 seconds. Complain about the offensive PI's and take the damn fine, show your players you have their back, dont just say you have their back.

The Texans secondary was HORRIBLE yesterday.

Knowing Brady had a Timeout and the two minute warning BO should have went for it on 4th down.

Reminds me of the story of Darrell Walker when he was a rookie with the NY Knicks going up against Tree Rollins. He kept driving the lane and trying to put shots up over him, and Tree kept swatting every shot he took away. A timeout was called and Tree said to Walker, "you must not get cable, because if you did, you would have seen me play and you'd know better than to do what you're trying to do".

BO knows you don't give Brady that much time with the game on the line (he's seen him do it COUNTLESS times....on TV and while coaching the Patriots).

    Such hindsight here.

Texans could have just picked up the strip sack, stopped the 3rd and 12, stopped the 3rd and 18, caught the interception, or pushed someone out of bounds.

The right call was made plain and simple. The Patriots scoring that TD had more to do with luck than anything.

Inexcusable that Foreman didn't get the ball on 3rd & 1. Almost as inexcusable as not calling the timeout.

You realize that 4 of the possibilities you just mentioned point out just HOW bad our secondary was yesterday, right?? Every play you called out was one that SHOULD have been made by a competent, professional-level secondary. Luck had very little to do with it.

I think kicking the FG on 4th down was the right play there. If you can't trust your defense to hold Brady from going 80 yards and scoring a TD, then you're certainly not going to be able to hold Brady from going 40 yards for a game winning FG. And on that last drive, the Texans got completely unlucky... Brady fumbles directly to his lineman, the Pats didn't get called for a clear OPI, we dropped an interception, etc... It was more about a string of unfortunate events rather than horrendous defense. 9 times out of 10, the Texans would have won there... It just happened to be the one time out of those 10 that Brady found enough fortune to win. On the flip side, the Texans don't convert the 4th down 9 of 10 times, which means the Texans have a better chance to win by not going for it on 4th down.

Our offensive line is brutal and I have no faith in them on a 4th down try. The main issue with all this is that it should have been Foreman running on 3rd and 1, not Miller. That's where obrien failed, imo.

The ball was up for grabs twice.

The probable interception is caught by most college safeties. Moore just whiffed on the catch.

HE whiffed on the td he gave up too. WTF was he trying to do? The most direct way to get a hand on that ball to deflect it was a straight arm and a bee line to it. Instead he tries to swat it with a rotation motion that was 2 seconds way too late. Kareem was getting burned pretty bad all game too.

"He's a handful," Patriots corner Malcolm Butler said afterward, via transcripts distributed by the team. "[He was] running around, people diving at him, missing him. That's a great guy. That's an upcoming Cam Newton."

“It does get frustrating at times,” defensive lineman Deatrick Wise, Junior, said. “You see that you have him in vision and all of a sudden he’s somewhere else and everybody is hopping over each other.”

They all battled. Clowney, Watt, DW4,
Butler needs to become teammates with Deshaun next Spring.

I imagine if we had duane brown, aj bouye, and a coach that started with Watson on day 1 we'd be at least 2-1 but maybe 3-0 right now.

"The Patriots scoring that TD had more to do with luck than anything"??

Maybe you might want to put the crack pipe down once in awhile and educate yourself who Tom Brady is and what he does in these situations. "Luck"? Good grief.....

Educate myself? Doesn't take a brain to see that there were two chances the Texans had to either pick up a loose ball or catch a floating pass.
I think you need to stop crying and get over the loss.
