Oh don't get me wrong, they are ballin. But man JJ and Clowney with those silly offsides penalties every freaking game. Plus both of them refuses to set the edge is insane.
I hung out with the guy a couple times back in high school. One of the nicest people you'll meet, yet the whole time that ball was flying thru the air i was thinking, "do i hate him now??"
It comes with the player. He always seems to make up for it in the biggest way. He causes so many issues for the opposing offenses just by becoming the worlds most effective battering ram.
It wasn't always their responsibility. The first Peterson touchdown, Mercilus was on that edge. On the second, Clowney was double-teamed. He is usually pretty good at setting the edge on run plays. It's hard to set the edge on a QB run because they're in pass rush mode. But for some reason they don't defend mobile QBs well.
what exactly is Derwin James doing better than Reid that has "experts" ranking him higher? The sacks? Justin hasn't been sent on any. That's badger. Justin has him on exceptional passes defended, Ints and TDs. Anyone have the fancy pants stats of the completion % they're allowing when targeted?
A far cry from his 2017 MVP campaign, Tom Brady is a profoundly average quarterback this season. Completion Percentage (18th), Passing Yards (11th), Touchdowns (15th), Interceptions (15th), Y/A (17th), Rating (17th). Average QB is average. He has lost some uummpphhh in the arm.
I dont know why youre yelling but okay..... When youre whole career has been accurate short pass game, you dont really need "uumpphhh" You can doubt him all you want, youre not gonna find many here that are gonna agree with you. Id be willing to bet you that they still finish ahead of the Texans for seeding.
I didn't know dustin Hopkins went to clear lake. I just read that he held the NCAA div 1 scoring record until it broken by a kicker from deer park high school. I guess this area is producing some decent college kickers now.
