Must have been a different play because the one I'm talking about the RB was standing still and the ball is thrown way behind him.
I feel like BOB saying this but I'd have to go back and watch tape...but I think at least 5 were drops
So does Brown have to show up to the games to get paid? I know he's probably out best lineman but I say just release him he's not going to be in football shape when he decides to come back anyway
I have no respect for the man and just wish he would get traded. He isn't the kind of leader we need on our offensive line, regardless of his past. His family is the only one losing out, because all the money he has forfeited by not showing up to practice could have paid for his kids' college education, as well as a nice home.
Has everyone seen who's on our OL? Cut or trade Brown? That's stupid on the Texans part. Duane Brown is playing it perfect. He's letting them see how bad the line looks without him. I could be wrong but from what I understand, he just wants his money guaranteed. None of his remaining salary is guaranteed so get a major injury then no more money. You have to look out for yourself in this league because the league doesn't look out for you. This is the exact reason there will be a lockout. Players want more guaranteed money at the end of their contracts. Who on this board believes he doesn't deserve it? For the ones saying, oh, well he signed a contract...I'm 100% sure you would do the same he's doing at that age or any age in this league.
Crazy thing is, I think Armanti was a higher recruit out of high school. Texas just doesn't have that Pac12 type of quarterback to give him the ball
this is the sort of thing the local reporters are forbidden from reporting if they want to keep their media passes
He signed the contract and if the texans give him what he wants, then all the players will do this to get there money. Then we will be over paying players..he didn't like the contract then he shouldn't have signed it. He's gonna come back overweight huffin and puffin and not live up to his new contract if they did offer him one. Release him and move on
