Kenny Stills is not a public official. Not apples to apples.

And about the law still being the law. If Rosa Parks felt the same we would be in a worse off place as a country.

You are allowed to protest public officials performing their jobs, not at homes. Certainly not trespass.

If this sticks, I think he made a mistake. Felons are treated like crap in this country.

Props to Kenny. Puts in work in the community and stands for his beliefs.

At worst, he will plead guilty to a misdemeanor and pay a fine. Maybe do some community service.

Rosa Parks was protesting to change the law for Black people and all people to sit anywhere on the bus. She changed the law.

people sitting on your lawn without your permission is trespassing

    Look. I don’t like Bill O Brien
If I go to his house and sit there I will get arrested for trespassing

LOL. No way this sticks. It will be dropped or reduced to a misdemeanor.

Obviously, he is not "allowed" or he wouldn't have been arrested. The point is the protest is trying to get the attention of a public official who makes decisions that affect the general public. Protesting in front of Kenny Stills is not the same.

Not saying it is the same but Mohammed Ali's conviction didn't cause him to be treated like crap. He'll be fine. Now some of the others who don't have the Kenny Stills name might suffer consequences. But I'm sure everyone was aware of the potential consequences but believed it was worth the risk.

Again. Like I already said, Bill O'Brien is not a public official.

And I don't think anyone is saying it is NOT trespassing.

And that doesn't change that it's trespassing and they can get arrested.

Doesn't matter if it's a public officials house.

If you got Sylvester Turner's house and decide to do jumping jacks to Milli Vanilli songs
    you will get arrested.

Actually the bigger charge is this one
    @Bandwagoner
Protesters were charged with intimidating a participant in a legal process, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, according to a Louisville Metro Police Department news release.

That's the worst he would get if he trespassed on your home. When you piss off people with power, it's different.
