I was hoping they reworked his deal to free up money for Warford.
    Fulton could then be backup.

That would be great, because when he played with the Chiefs he had starts at both guard spots and center as well. Could solidify our OL depth, but if it was between Warford or Logan Ryan, I'd have to pull for signing Ryan.

I mean, not that a graduate degree from UNT is like, mind blowing or anything, but it's not the Texans just took any ol' random math teacher from a high school, either.

Could be worse, guys. Could be worse.

In fairness he could be brilliant and it isn't just to completely discount him because of his background and education. I will say it is an unusual hire as there is a lot of interest in these types of positions from the graduates of the top schools in the world.

If this hire was made by the Patriots everyone would be saying BB found a diamond in the rough.

"Don't care, Brian. Head Girl's basketball coach and led that team to a second place finish, Brian! Plus he finished a data science class on Coursera nearly a year ago."

And no, I am not kidding about the data science class. I'm floored. I'm sure the guy is plenty smart, but damn, that's not exactly the Ivy League.

Coached boy's and girl's basketball, coached track and field, played soccer, has TWO Master's (I think two? Trinity and UNT?)

Damn, surprised he's not head overlord of the Texans with those credentials.

"Brian, this hire is tremendous! Very versatile!"

“Pursued” at Trinity International whatever that is. “Pursued” means he did not complete.

Trinity International University traces its roots to 1897 when the Swedish Evangelical Free Church began a ten-week Bible course in the basement of a Chicago church. This soon developed into the Bible Institute of the Swedish Evangelical Free Church of America. In 1910 the Norwegian-Danish Free Church established the Norwegian-Danish Bible Institute and Academy. It was first located in Rushford, Minnesota, and then later in Minneapolis with the name Trinity Seminary and Bible Institute. Between 1946 and 1949 the Swedish school merged with the Norwegian-Danish school to form Trinity Seminary and Bible College, located in Chicago.

Smells like a Chaplain Easterby hire.
