Best interest of the team John. Felt I didn't have enough power so I fired him Brian.
Even though I gave Whitney & Nick Martin those terrible deals John, I told worthless Cal that Chris Olsen did them.
Anyone who has more power than me or doesn't align with my terrible vision, they're out Brian. I will not stop until I have ultimate power and control Mark.
Rick Smith, you're fired. Brian Gaine, you're fired. Chris Olsen, you're fired. George Godsey, you're fired. John Pagano, you're fired. Romeo Crennel, you're fired.
I'm really glad Bob passed Brian because no way Bob would give me all this power. Now I just whisper sweet things into his dumb ass son's ear and he approves instantly.
I think it's a great setup and one we'll move forward with John.

Um...Bob couldn't fire Olsen. Only Cal McNair could.

Honestly if your secondary can't cover for more than 4 seconds then the only solution is to get to the quarterback in less than 4 seconds. So, at least we'll go down swinging instead of riding prevent all the way to the end zone time after time.

They should pick the top 5 clutch fan analyst and hire us to the organization for input. I’ll take the minimum salary lol

we can give them a perspective from the other side and have a fresh set of eyes of how to improve the team.

    https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sp...in-changes-Bill-O-Brien-coach-FO-14989236.php

O’Brien and Easterby answer to Cal McNair. O’Brien and Easterby spent two days last week meeting with McNair to determine what changes they want to make on a team that finished 10-6, won the AFC South and defeated Buffalo in a wild card game before being eliminated at Kansas City.

Easterby’s growing influence with McNair and O’Brien has made him a power player within the organization, someone who’s got his fingerprints in every department on the personnel side of the operation.

More changes are expected among the position coaches as O’Brien continues to shuffle his coaching staff.

After the Texans blew a 24-point lead and lost 51-31 to the Chiefs in the divisional round of the playoffs, changes were inevitable. The firings of Olsen and Pagano are the tip of the proverbial iceberg as O’Brien and Easterby continue to fire people so they can hire their hand-picked replacements.

As the de facto GM, why couldn't O'Brien fire Olsen?

And at this point, I'm not sure he'll have someone to scapegoat next season. He will have been responsible for a host of personnel and coaching decisions by then. If it doesn't work...or doesn't go farther...then I think we can pretty much expect HIM TO GET A 5 YEAR EXTENSION!!!!
