We don't have anything to trade them. Especially if the rumored package they turned down from Baltimore is accurate

Playcalling is not the best, I agree, but the offense is putting up enough points generally to win games. What usually loses them games is the defense giving up a 3rd and 20 because the DBs have given the other team a 20 yard cushion.

They just beat a team that has a possible future hall of fame quarterback on the road. They outscored them 20-3 in the second half, and minus a terrible mistake in the first half by Deshaun, played pretty good defense overall. I mean our team finally won one of these games, and it wasn't by some lucky fluke play.

Of course they aren't perfect but if the first thing someone thinks to post after this win is a complaint of that sort then I don't think they can be happy with this team. Which is different than criticizing.

I like what I've seen from Lonnie. He had a bogus P. I on a nice break up he had.

I counted 7 unofficial qb hits for Deshaun, the 2 sacks. The Roughing the passer that was called, The roughing the passer that wasn't called. The 1 1/2 yard gain to evade a sack. The 4 yard gain in which he was absolutely leveled, if that was brady that's an ejection. I think the refs made up for it during the pseudo int he threw up for grabs in the shadows. He was hit there also.

The line gave Deshaun enough time to do his thing in the second half but enough with the shuffling every week. Let them develop some continuity.

Biggest win of the BoB era. Thanks Deshaun.

The 4-sack streak is over and the line is improving each week. Radio said they "made a wall" for the first time in a long time.

Watt repeats his 2018 sack tally by not notching one until Week 3 again. Seems he's a tad rusty early on.

Future looks bright if we maintain decent health. Thanks Deshine.

I predicted a win 2-1 Watson is one of those that can carry you

I actually admire that we came back from a 10-0 deficit... that builds confidence and confidence helps build a winning attitude which creates a winning culture. This was a good win.

    HOUSTON TEXANS
Houston’s offense rarely seems to work as it’s designed. For good or bad, Deshaun Watson plays to his own script. That unpredictability is both a blessing and a curse. On the Texans’ final touchdown drive, Watson threw a terrible interception down the left sideline. Under pressure, trying to drive the ball off his back foot into double coverage, Houston was hugely fortunate to be saved by offsetting penalties. A few plays later, he miraculously escaped pressure and found a wide open tight end for a long touchdown. Greater structure would definitely help Houston’s long-term prospects, but for now, Watson’s rare talent is winning them games.

Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson had almost nothing to work with on the ground but managed to contribute in other ways. Hyde illustrated his skills in the red zone with some power football down by the goal line, one of the few successful carries all day. Johnson proved highly elusive in the passing game, adding yards after the catch on a number of Watson’s desperate checkdowns. The backfield dynamic in Houston is healthier than it has been for a while.

JJ Watt was a one-man wrecking crew against the Chargers. His number could be found swimming within Los Angeles’ backfield throughout the contest. He amassed an amazing number of pressures and kept the Chargers from equaling the score on the final drive.

While the secondary found itself being dismantled by the Phillip Rivers-led air brigade, the Houston defense quietly shut down the Chargers’ rushing attack. Between the efforts of JJ Watt, DJ Reader and Zach Cunningham, the Los Angeles offense was forced into a one-dimensional corner as it fought to even the score.

    Rookie Takeaways
Rookie offensive linemen Max Scharping and Tytus Howard had up-and-down performances against Los Angeles. Neither of the two was awful in pass protection, but they each earned multiple negative marks as run-blockers.

Shocker! Practice with Tytus on the left side exclusively. Practice with Scharping on the right side exclusively. Week 3 on the road? Let's switch that up. Of course they struggled.
