this is essentially the point Steve Hall made on CNN last night . . . "Putin is not pro-Trump, he's not anti-Bernie . . . he's anti-United States."

at around the 0:45 second mark:

It is essentially the point since 2016.

    looking back..

Often time when there is investigation into the Russian interference or attempt to protect our election, the GOP and their defender get into a defensive position and can’t see pass it to this simple point.

The GOP dismisses this and instead blame others - they are not able to let the 2016 election go. Worse, they are blocking legislations to protect our election and turning their eyes away from Trump inviting or using foreign nation to interfere in our election.

in 2015-16 it was just Trump that has this I don’t believe American over Russian altitude and his desire to take advantage of any interference to his adv, including foreign. That has evolved into him directly and publicly asking for interference. And that has evolved into the GOP party and supporters essentially giving him the green light to do it.

A green light to anti-United States.

No, they want Trump to go against Bernie just like Trump and the GOP wants Trump to go against Bernie. Bernie fans may not care, but at least acknowledge the obvious.

They also worked for Clinton too, they don't care, they will try to twist anything into chaos. We had reports of them imitating to be BLM activists on the internet too...

So I don't think it's just a Bernie thing. Sure, we can say that Russia thinks Trump can beat Bernie but that doesn't mean anything to me. I'm more interested in how they are trying to spread discord and they do this everywhere.

? What about Russia conspiracies? Have you heard how Trump has been reacting to the news? He’s angry that his OWN NATIONAL SECURITY advisors warned congress about a national security threat. And then he starts firing them! Then he’s pardoning people who donated to his campaign..interfering with the sentencing of his buddy Roger Stone, prompting all 4 prosecutors to resign and for 2,000 former DOJ officials to call for Trump’s ouster.

This is an attempt at dictatorship. We can’t mince words any longer. This has been going on since the inception of his presidency. The democrats were right in pursuing impeachment, but if they would’ve waited until after this past week they actually might’ve gotten him. He commits impeachable offenses daily. I’m truly sickened to see the rule of law and my Constitution so egregiously stomped upon by a wanna-be dictator

Russia also staged rallies AGAINST Trump after the election.

If Trump's refusal to acknowledge even that isn't telling about the man's loyalties, I don't know what is.

which makes Trump a national ally. Putin doesn't care about Trump but he knows Trump cares for, admires, and believes him, more than United States institutions and security agencies working to protect our country.

Because Putin cares about Russia, he wants to help Trump win.

Gee who would Russia most prefer to be in the val Office? The guy who honeymooned in the USSR or the guy who has been the toughest President on Russia post cold war?

If Russia agenda is so anti American. Why is the GOP doing nothing to stop Russia from interfering? There is how many bills sitting on Mitch’s desk.

Now imagine if Trump’s best friend Roger Stone didn't work with Russia to get dirt on Clinton. Now imagine that. Oh wait he did.

Bernie is a hilarious counterpoint to how easily Trump could have defused this three years ago with a few polite words and some minor legal concessions.

Instead, he's conducting purges three years on because people dare speak the truth that he can't admit.

This will be forever attached to his legacy because of his own inability to admit the truth and desire to save face. Trump decides to show the landmine who is boss and force a path over it, while Bernie is able to deftly step around it and keep moving foreward.

You do understand that Trump is lying when he says he's been the toughest on Russia in the cold war period. Trump has given in to Russias wishes time and again.

Trump has pushed for Russia to be allowed into the G7,
    Trump has weakened NATO,
Trump has not held Russia accountable for election interference.
Trump has canceled the INF treaty of which Putin wanted to escape.
Trump has notified them of military strikes in Syria to make sure they had time to remove personnel and sensitive material.
Trump has weakened the bonds with allies who would stand in Russia's way.
Trump held up funds for the defense of Ukraine which is being invaded and attacked by Russia.
Trump has blocked new sanctions against Russia.
Trump withdrew sanctions from three different Russian oil companies
Trump tried to repeal Obama sanctions against Russia
Trump failed to properly implement CAASTA sanctions against Russia
Trump issued an EO in 2018 undermining proposed sanctions against Russia
Trump has on multiple occasions delayed sanctions required by law against Russia for the use of chemical weapons.
Trump has removed our forces from Syria allowing them to coordinate with Turkey in their support of the Syrian dictator.
Trump and his administration have knowingly spread Russian propaganda that it was Ukraine that interfered in the 2016 election.
Trump has belittled, denounced, and encouraged others to disregard the findings of American intelligence agencies regarding Russia and their interference.
Trump's team has met with Russia to offer removal of sanctions in exchange for information to help him personally.
Trump has publicly said that Crimea is part of Russia
Trump has encouraged the disruption of the EU which has been Putin's goal.
Trump refused to recommit to article 5 of our NATO agreement
Trump has called NATO a protection racket.
Trump uses an unsecured consumer iPhone to perform government transactions.
Trump supported National Front leader Marine Le Pen in the French presidential election
Trump publicly praises Hungarian leader Viktor Orban
Trump tried to persuade France to leave the EU
Trump has threatened sanctions against European cars
Trump ended negotiations on the TTIP treaty
Trump has pushed the idea of leaving the WTO
Trump has so weakened alliances with traditional allies per Putin's wishes. Both Germany and Canada have called America's era of leadership over because of Trump's actions.
Germany is developing an 'American Strategy' to specifically deal with Trump's lack of leadership against Russia.
Trump has sought to actively hide details of at least 5 meetings with Putin from United States officials.
Trump has publicly defended Putin's murder and imprisonment of journalists and political opponents by equating it to American behavior.
Trump validated and congratulated Putin on Putin's fraudulent election.
Trump invited Russians, foreign minister, into the oval office and disclosed classified information at the expense of Israel.
Trump has not only weakened our cyber-defenses but proposed cyber cooperation with Russia.
Trump has reduced the staff and closed the office of the United States sanctions team responsible for dealing with the Sanctions against Russia.
Trump and Republicans blocked sanctions against Oleg Deripaska.
Trump took Putin's suggestion to halt defensive exercises with South Korea
Trump's campaign softened the stance on Russian invasion and interference against Ukraine in 2016.

This is only a partial list of the things Trump has done that serve the interests of Putin and Russia. If you feel he's been the toughest on Russia please provide a substantive list of the ways in which he has done that.

You are also free to try and point out anyway that you see items in the list I've made as serving the Russian interests.

I look forward to the discussion.
