Marisnick has been such a pleasure to watch. Like Peacock, Jake went back to the drawing board and slightly tweaked his swing. The dividends are there. For the record, I got called out in the offseason for suggesting that Marisnick had value and should get some starts. His role is vital to our success. He's a great depth piece, especially as health becomes even more paramount as the season ages. Dare I say, excellent trade value. Cheap and cost-controlled for a while, young, elite defense, great speed, power, hitting at higher clips. A young team may love to add Marisnick. It may be time to sell high, especially with Fisher and co. in the wings. I don't think they move him this season due to chemistry (and his talent), but interesting to consider.
Why not keep him in center? His potential still hasn't been reached and you won't get fair value for him.
I don't think the super cautious approach has done lance any favors. Hopefully not the same story for DK.
