This was in poor taste. But if the other guy said it I don’t know if it would even crack his top 5 dumbest statements for the day.
Were you trying to quote me? But never mind... I wouldn't admit to being a trump supporter either...[/QUOTE] Yup Orange Man bad
He apologized multiple times for his words during the interview. Not for that quote though. He is smart to apologize but dont act like he recognized his error. His team and backlash initiated that.
Jig watch the interview, this isn't about opposing views, the **** is hilarious"if you don't vote for me you ain't black", that's some **** you'd expect Leslie Knope to say lol
As a Trump supporter, I wish he would do that when he’s genuinely goofed up. I don’t remember Obama ever said I’m sorry though, I could be wrong, ya’ll can school me if you have proofs.
I actually don't think they can prepare him for something like this because he seems to always be defensive but this good because he can make his mistakes now and learn from them. You can tell he went in looking for fight.
Why can’t you see that this is Biden being himself and it is not a good look for you guys if you want to win? Nobody is being triggered, res ipsa loquitur.
I did watch the interview and it was not great, I am sure some will continue to harp on it and it will be brought up again but at least he apologized. Are we really scoring candidates on what Knope would say?
It really was a bizarre interview. You would think someone that’s been doing this for 50 years would better understand the fine line between being diplomatic and standing your ground. Just an overall needlessly tense and combative interview highlighted by the joke that didn’t land. Now he’s going to have to apologize or at least clarify. Like you said, though, would rather it happen now. Edit: just saw the apology. Good.
I realize it is Biden being himself and not a good look. It is still a far site better than retweeting stuff from the Proud boys and the both sides comment.
I will say that having to impress C the god after being a Senator for 20+ years has to irk Biden and it shows. He also needs to drop the come on man which is a bit condescending but I like the fact that he actually seems to care and takes this stuff a little personally.
I’ve worked with memory care patients before and Biden’s combative and bizarre approach reminds me of them.
You have to admit that charlemagne held back. I have listened to him many times and it was strange listening to him not clap back. He had multiple opportunities.
Guess that makes two, considering the large panel of psychiatrists that put out a paper saying Trump is showing signs of mental decline or some sort of disturbance (if I'm remembering their words correctly). I'm angry as an American citizen that these are our two choice of who we want to lead and be the face of our country.
