I have seen seven to eight months of federal government performance responding to the pandemic to gauge deficiency... btw, you simply posted a web site filled with numerous links.
I didn't realize I had to be so precise. Fauci has explained the initial reluctance time and time again. So... once Fauci did come out and advise folks to wear masks.... do you agree that the President did a poor job of reinforcing the advice and setting an example?
You keep repeating the same arguments... and as usual, you are wrong. Simply research and reading would avoid you continuing to embarrassing your self. https://www.businessinsider.com/fauci-doesnt-regret-advising-against-masks-early-in-pandemic-2020-7 Multiple fact checks: Outdated Fauci Video on Face Masks Shared Out of Context https://www.factcheck.org/2020/05/outdated-fauci-video-on-face-masks-shared-out-of-context/ Did Anthony Fauci Say People No Longer Need to Wear Masks? This is why trump lies constantly and gets away with it. There are thousands of ignorant or dishonest wattafans out there who will repeat his lies regardless of how many times they are proven to be lies.
You were the one that asked for the links in the first place. I told you the facts, and you posted "Links?"
First of all, that playbook came out after the virus hit. Obama had left one before it ever hit, and the one you linked is deficient in ways that I already mentioned. So here are the ways. 1. It wasn't prepared until after we were already suffering from the virus. 2. It doesn't address steps the government needs to take to acquire masks and medical equipment 3. It doesn't address efficient ways to cooperate and work with local authorities to deliver that equipment. The government was left with a playbook that would have addressed those needs, and Trump ignored it.
I gave you what you asked you for, and you said ignored it and didn't read it despite asking for it. I used to defend you here telling people that while we disagreed you argued respectfully. Now, you are doing this. You've been exposed as being wrong many times on here before, now you're exposed for not even discussing in good faith.
Like I said fb, I did my own research - you took a long time to post as I'm sure you are a busy person too. I simply didn't see the need to go through them.
It's been stated a thousand times...the administration pushed that narrative because they didn't want every single person running out and buying all the masks. They explicitly stated supply was short and they wanted to reserve what was left for medical workers. Do you understand???
Sure medical workers need masks, but that doesn't strike you as putting the cart before the horse? I.e., if people wore their masks, there would have been less people getting sick. Right?
If the right steps were taking in January of course but again this was a self inflicted wound and Trump kept downplaying it until it was a full blow outbreak.
