I thought they said both runners were moving.

If it was just Stubbs trying to go to third, with 2 outs... and Altuve at the plate... then that's a fineable/suspendable offense.

Runner on third with one out...do we want Correa at the plate in that situation where we must plate that run? It seems like an ideal scenario but it seems Correa’s over-eagerness to come through translates into a sh_tty, undisciplined plate appearance that is mired by swing and misses. On the flip side, I know Correa has walked it off coming through on occasion. I just don’t trust him at the plate to come through in those situations. I think he puts too much pressure on himself and is more likely to falter. All we needed was a sac fly for craphead’s sake.

Both runners went but they said if the guy on 1st sees the guy on 2nd go, he goes. But they mentioned Tucker basically went at the exact same time as Stubbs so they figured it was a double steal attempt.

I can't imagine a coach giving the sign for a double steal. Tucker, for all his problems this year, he's been a very alert base runner.

Astros gave away three outs with piss poor baserunning, and almost 4 if dugout didn't go crazy when Maldonado tried to walk off field with two outs. Kangaroo Court is going to have plenty of money.

"Dusty Baker said on @SportsTalk790 that George Springer "might" be in the Astros' lineup today at designated hitter, but Baker said that may mean Michael Brantley (quad) would be out of the lineup. Jose Altuve is already getting a day off today, too."

Gotta play the long game... also Yordan needs 3 more months at Corpus to get ready.

"Yordan is very close," Dusty Baker said. "Who knows, he could be here in a couple days."

    Rotation for Mariners series:
    Friday: Valdez
    Saturday: Javier
    Sunday: McCullers

"I normally do something to hurt myself every year," George Springer said. "I'm not going to change the way I play."

Always felt Tucker was better suited for RF. Has shown he's not that good at playing bounces off the Crawford Boxes. Arm strength could be a concern though, seeing the short throw to Correa. If he had a stronger throw directly to Bregman then we probably get Yaz out at 3rd.

Post-Covid Yordan, at quarter strength, likely out-slugs Toro-Straw-Garneu-Stubbs combined.

Giants complaining about the strike zone, and I understand some are close, but I think this umpire for it being his first game is doing a heck of a job so far.

How's the bullpen gonna blow it if the bats don't even give 'em a chance?! Come on bats! Get some hits, score some runs! ;)
