Need a game winning grand slam to make up for the atrocious play today.

if enron park doesn't rob Alex from that home run, we'd only be down 1 run.
hoyt and liriano didn't allow any runs.
Fiers 3 runs was more than enough to win.
    disappointment of a game.

It would be nice to get a Dodger/Red Sox type 9th inning walkoff.....

Not that it would have mattered that much the way today was going, but those called strikes in Marwin's AB was some horse****

Umps are losing the battle in the android wars. Replace their asses you can't call three straight taken balls outside the zones as strikes to end a game. That's just breaking the unwritten rule of umping: end the game on a ****ing legit strike.

Truth, it really is starting to get out of hand with these umps. Technology has caught up to them to where every broadcast around the country is able to catch every single mistake they make.

Hinch made a firm mention of this during the postgame.

Not just that AB, but Astro ABs in general.

Sometimes I think these umps drink too much soda pop before the game so by the 9th inning they've really gotta pee.

I'm all for electronic ball/strike calling There will still be plenty of room for 'human elements' in the game if that is Manfred's concern. The home plate umpire will still be there, but mainly to deal with things like out/safe calls at the plate, catcher's interference, etc. so it's not like the umpires are going to be at risk of losing their job.
