I was thinking Stacey Abrams. I think both Biden and Warren should seriously consider Abrams. Maybe she's a bit of a reach based on experience level but I think she's a natural demographic fit for both.

She has to have been given a promise of VP for her not running for Senate IMO.

I’m not sure why the ny seats appear so greasy. Might be Wall Street.

Can a ny native chime in or debunk this feeling?

Climate change debates tonight. Saw a bit of Andrew Yang and using Thorium in nuclear reactors. I'll have to read up on that. I find Kamala Harris really annoying. She's all about saving the babies.

Biden: Here's the deal. The bottom line is. The fact of the matter is.

It seems as the minor players have dropped out their support mostly appears to have gone to second tier candidates and not the first tier. I guess this should have been foreseeable since most people who are supporting niche candidates are likely more picky and politically aware.

The outcome of the primary is going to be so greatly impacted by how many candidates survive until Iowa. I want it down to like 7-8, but I fear it may be 12+.

I agree about being picky but one could make the case that those supporting niche candidates do so out of naivete rather than superior political awareness.

I have doubts about Warren, and I'm concerned about Biden because of his debate performances. Definitely a mixed bag. Bernie? I don't like him at all, and of the top 3, I think he's the one trump would have the best chance against. The rest? The only candidate that gets me excited, and that we've contributed to, is Pete Buttigieg. The only thing "holding him back," in my opinion, and it is something we couldn't care less about, is that he's Gay. So what? The guy is smart as hell. I've been impressed every time I've seen him speak. For people who don't know much about him, read his book.

    Generalities.

If you're aware of candidate #22, you're more likely to be aware of candidate #21.

Interestingly: her surge happened after @Ubiquitin ”went in on her.”

While there's not much to be impressed about with Biden and his platform, the only thing I really care about at this point is getting Trump the F out of the White House, and per the head-to-head polls, Biden is beating all the other Dem candidates.

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/general_election/

Biden head-to-head vs Trump has a greater edge over the other candidates in pretty much every state poll, including swing states that were lost in 2016 (Ohio, MIchigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina) and traditional red states that could be stolen in 2020 (Arizona and Texas).

The polls are surprising considering in 2015-2016, these same state head-to-head polls favored Bernie over Hillary. After 3 years of dealing with Trump's nonsense, looks like a lot of voters would love to go back to the status-quo that they soured upon in 2016.

He isn't my preferred pick to win, but he must win.
