Just finished watching. I don’t like Valdez close and late. He’s your mop up guy. That situation called for McHugh. But otherwise after we won the first 2 games this was all gravy so no worries.

Hinch being a nice player-coach should of broom the Red Sox. Miley getting bombed by Chavis should of been a telling sign he is through. He should of let Martin finished the inning, not Miley today. He wanted Miley to get the win. Hinch played not to lose with the Valdez move and Tyler White reminds me of Preston Tucker and AJ Reed. It is only 1 game, but I like to sweep those dirty Sox.

Hinch can be annoying (trust me I know) but he does a good job of viewing the season as 162 games. Guys like Valdez have to pitch sometimes. We are still on pace to win like 110 games.

Execute or not the odds are better and he doesn’t get doubled up giving the next hitter a shot. It’s frustrating watching all the blown chances to score.

Coming into today’s game, Jake had hit into exactly one DP this season. The odds were much greater that he would strike out than hit into a DP. Also, a bunt could result in a DP. Also, had Jake popped up a bunt the vast majority of every complainer on this board would have been screaming about that. He failed. It happens.

I wasn’t reading the board during the game. How many posters were calling for a bunt before the DP?

If a bunt with the bases loaded was such a guaranteed run scorer, it would happen much more often.

Correa's 448-foot HR was Sale's longest allowed as a Sock.

    Los really socked it.

Can’t believe nobody is bringing up Michael Yordan Alvarez.

Hinch is not perfect, nobody is, but this 100%. He has a WS victory, and will eventually win at least one more. I think he'll eventually be remembered as one of the all-time greats. Also, I like his composure, and how he's always a good sport and straightforward with the media and is very calm when speaking.

I know. I just was hoping that we didn't get the GARM influx.

Ehh... we were in the 3rd game of 13 straight without a day off. We already clinched the series win. I would have preferred someone else pitch besides Valdez, but Hinch has to think about the long season and we burned our pen a little needing 5 innings the day before. I will take 5-1 vs the Yankees and Red Sox so far.
