Yeah I’m out as well already gonna struggle getting up for work and staying up late for this crap !!!!!!
He's made it well-known that he wants to break Kent's record for most homers as a second baseman. Kent deserves to be #1, not only is he a (brief) former Astro and a Texas transplant, but he was known to be very anti-Barry Bonds while with the Giants. Good for him!
I agree ! I think when your caught cheating like Cano was you should not be allowed to keep your records it’s cheating ! Guaranteed he’s still doing it. I’ve never liked him cause he’s been an Astros killer and now I know why !
We can't win without getting a bat from somewhere.I am still amazed at the tremendous regression from this team. Why the hell Hinch put in Sipp is beyond me.
It’s pretty simple right now. The 2018 astros can’t beat good teams. Seattle has now spanked them 5 in a row and Oakland has taken 5 of the last 7 against them. They were beaten 5-2 by the Yankees in the season series. The only times we’ve been Seattle and Oakland are when they hadn’t found themselves in April and may. Since then its been a bloodbath. Since the white Sox and royals won’t be in the playoffs but the as and sox and Yankees will, it’s jusr not logical the 2018 astros are all of a sudden going to find a way to beat good teams even if they hold on and get the wildcard. 2017 was absolutely amazing and incredible but the 2018 team is ordinary and has inflated its record by pounding on bad teams. The bullpen is simply abysmal when they face good teams and the lineup is very much boom or bust and really more bust than boom. The sporadic once every 10 game run explosion skews stats but this team lacks the plate discipline, competitiveness ( save for our mega studs Verlander and bregman and Altuve) and quality relief to compete against the elite teams. I really hope there aren’t any more trades involving prospects. It takes discipline to avoid getting in the rat race to acquire veteran help but this team is just too far in my opinion for a .275/.780 OPS to change things and they’ve thrown so much investment on improving the bullpen that throwing yet more just doesn’t make sense. Gotta try to improve the team in the offseason and roll with what you have in my opinion. Oakland is probably too good this year to hold off anyway and Seattle just has the Astros number.
Man when Gordon was having a hissy fit, I had a feeling they were going to score. Although I thought he was going to hit a solo homer. Didn't think it was going to be a 3 run homerun.
