All series talk goes in here. Non series talk goes somewhere else. No PBP, that can be found from other sources if you need it. All games are broadcast on AT&T Sports SW unless otherwise noted.

    5-31 Brad Peacock (R) vs. Mike Fiers (R) 9:07

    6-1 Justin Verlander (R) vs. Brett Anderson (L) 9:07 MLBN (out-of-market only)

    6-2 Gerrit Cole (R) vs. Chris Bassitt (R) 3:07

Based on pitching match ups, this should go well. Just going to have to score a few runs.

Maybe Verlander will throw one since he missed it last time. If anyone could go out the next game and correct their mistake of allowing one hit, it's Justin.

Ugh, four of the next six games starting after 9:00 p.m. I know we're in the AL West, but it still never stops sucking.

It's rumored that Hinch is having to write himself into the lineup tonight.

I bet Altuve is 2 weeks or less away.

I bet Springer is gonna be back before my first prediction which was just after the All-Star break.
Springer 1st week of July is not a stretch i don’t think ?????

    Thoughts??

I think Springer, Diaz, and Altuve are all back within 2 weeks. Springer's was one of those that just looked a lot worse that it was. By the reports, he actually felt pretty good within a day or 2...which is a great sign.

It would sure be nice. I'd prefer seeing Reddick leading off. He did well there last week.

    Peacock v Fiers?

This game will either be a bombshow or a pitcher's dual. Hell if I know which.

I want to see him and Kemp bunt today, sometime. (bunt for hits I should say)

1-2-3, but Stros made decent contact.

    Future looks okay.

Peacock on the screen with Clemens, Ryan, and Richard for "Best 4-game stretches" by Astros pitchers. Sucks that he had to have that shitshowing against the Twins, otherwise he'd be in the conversation for Pitcher of the Month.
