The witch said, "no 9th innings".

    Nice seeing bats blast.

Today might be the first victory this season when trailing after 6.

Yuli and Moises are the 2 quickest bats I've seen on the Stros. It's impressive stuff.

They both are famous for having accidents and needing to change clothes between innings.

I'm not sure what is going on with Giles. His pitches are moving differently. He's using them differently. He's striking out less guys at same rate as Keuchel. He hasn't walked a batter. He's giving up great contact, but few runs.

Here's his heat map for his fastball. I like that he's hitting his spot. Just wish his spot was somewhere else.

    How did he look today?

Actually, in the 7th, Smith got the first 2 outs, Harris the third. The following inning, Harris went 1-2-3.

Fisher with 4 PA and 0 K's. He actually has the OPS up over .700.

Out of 302 players with 60 PA, his hard contact rate is 24th, LD is 32nd, and his soft contact is 19th lowest. He's been hitting the hell out of the ball most of the season when he does put the damn thing in play. He hit another mammoth HR today.

If he can just get that K rate down to a more manageable 30% or so, we might actually have something. He's just giving away so many AB's this season.

Scoring four runs per game will win a lot of games with this pitching staff.
