The pitching really feels like spring training right now. Every day we just throw some random arms out there and hope they pitch well, and they haven't been bad all considered, just random. Would be really nice if Greinke could give 6 quality. Great to see Tucker finally bust out. It's pretty fortunate that we're 4-3 (should be 5-2) despite such inconsistent pitching and Springer,Altuve and Bregs early struggles. The whole league is fighting though this glorified spring training.
The Rays do this and it works sometimes. I expect Astros will usually try to have established guys at high leverage spots, but will try this when they have upper level arm prospects for the other spots going forward instead of signing guys like Rondon.
