All series talk goes in here. Non series talk goes somewhere else. No PBP, that can be found from other sources if you need it. All games are broadcast on AT&T Sports SW unless otherwise noted.

Game info incoming a little later.

White for Davis is an ...odd move to make.

While they're both roughly equal offensively, Davis is better defensively, and can also play 3B and LF in addition to 1B. While White has played all across the IF and OF in AAA. I believe Hinch thinks he's only a 1B in the big leagues. Also, would rather see Davis than Marwin in the lineup. I believe in Davis, and Marwin has been hit VERY hard by regression. I think he's best as a bench player for the rest of the season. At this point, it's safe to say that 2017 Marwin is gone for good. :(

Amazing combo of horrible and outstanding baserunning there by Springer.

Garbage throw by Trout vs Springer -- one hop, 15' up the line, from shallow CF.

Rough few days without baseball there. Glad it’s back and getting off to a good start

Off topic...how about Matt Carpenter. 5-5, all extra base hits with 3 hrs...AND HE GOT PULLED IN THE 6TH...a nice 30 point night for me in fantasy.

Was hoping Upton was going to catch Tucker's foul. Then Kinsler bailed us out with a boneheaded play. Good job by Reddick.

I was so hard up I watched both the ASG Wednesday and the Cubs-Cards last night.

He’ll get it soon enough. It’s taken him some time to really acclimate after each of his past few promotions. Have to imagine he’s still really trying to get the game to slow down.
