Athlete's Mindset seems to be called the Statement edition now looking at the Mavs and Clippers twitter and the community is called the City edition for the Mavs.
Spurs changed their iconic font "Spurs" and replaced the Spur logo on the shorts with that shitty circular logo but kept everything else the same. Doesn't look right.
@OTMax, the jerseys from SlamStudios are amazing. Best "fan" versions of jerseys I have seen. Not some MS Paint crap. Practical stuff and nice attention to detail.
The Nike uniforms make players look slightly out of shape for some reason, like they have a little bit of a beer belly. Also the shorts fit in a dorky way on the players. Not sure why.
Horrible patch-work...at least with soccer it's nicely integrated. Most of these, except for the Cavs maybe are horrible. Why not just stitch it in instead of having an actual patch?!!?
Yeah, the sponsors that look like "tacked on patches" look bad (Infor on Brooklyn being the worst). But the ones that have their own shape, like GE on Boston, or Goodyear on Cleveland mesh better with the uniform. The NBA is a cash cow. Sad that for a greedy revenue stream they would mess with the integrity of the uniforms and branding. With struggling leagues (like the WNBA), I totally get it. That is fine. You are doing what you have to to survive. But the NBA doesn't need this.
Yeah, the craziest one is Disney though because the patch is freaking blue and the uniforms are blue. Looks so amateurish..
Yeah, doubt prices will go down. Only time prices may go down is if we have a losing team, which I would not pay to watch. As others have mentioned, the sewn in ad logos (i.e. GE on Boston's , Goodyear on Cleveland's) look well down. The only one I see working for the Rockets is a sewn in logo for Toyota, especially see it happening if Dan Friedkin (owner of Gulf States Toyota) bought the team. That would look decent enough if it were sewn in
I thought teams were allowed four jerseys? Just saw Milwaukee with five? Hopefully we have five. White, Red, classic, black, and lunar.
Bucks are one of eight teams that will wear a classic uniform. (Bucks, Heat, Hawks, Hornets, Lakers, Pacers, Suns, Warriors)
