    lakers good after one years time? No.

    a bunch of these teams thinking they're going to set themselves up for just a dream scenario are going to be very disappointed. Lakers will be one of them

    Lakers have a long ways to go just to be considered a playoff team. Celts aren't even close to beating Cleveland.

    I don't think they can put it together that fast. Maybe 2019, if all the stars line up for them. They may be able to be a playoffs team next year if they get Paul George this year and Lonzo Ball lives up to the hype. Then they'll have to add a top tier superstar to challenge the Warriors.

    Unless something happens this coming season to cast serious doubt on the franchise, I fully expect the Lakers to be a top 4 seed in the West in the 2019 playoffs.

    If you took a poll of the top 50 players in the NBA asking their preferred city to play in, LA would win by a mile.

    lets document this bet right now. no way will the lakers be a top 4 seed after next season.

    oh i guess all the stars didn't read that memo since kobe left unless you count luol deng and mozgov as stars
