    WTF! WOW
I had to check the twitter name if it was fake.

Great trade for the Nets. Good trade for the Lakers.

Now they have more capspace. Looks more likely that they will go after Paul George this season. Maybe like Randle and their two late first if Pacers can't find anything better.

    Wow!

Depending on what happens, I can see this as a win-win deal.

I like it for the Nets. makes sense for the Lakers... if they add PG for sure, but even if not.

Also, the Lakers are set up to be good enough to be like at worst a 9th pick in the draft next year... meaning unless that pick sneaks into the lottery, the Celtics pick for moving back to #3 is most likely to the Kings pick in 2019 (because I think the 76ers can make the playoffs in the East by 2019)

I don't understand this for the Lakers...

They're several pieces away from contending, Lopez obviously isn't someone you build around and Russell certainly has better potential so this trade only makes sense if they have something else in the works.

I think it will take their #2 pick to get George. And they need to move now with everyone in the league sending offers. And I think the writiing is on the wall for Lavar... err Lonzo in LA.

and to create cap space by getting rid of mozgov. That contract was awful the second it was signed.

It's definitely a better trade for the Nets, imo...

... but it's not like Russell has been amazing. I mean he's underwhelmed a tad bit.
And personality wise... not a "laker".

And they get rid of Mozgov's contract.

The Pacers want as many assets as they can in a PG trade. That extra pick will be packaged in any deal.

Mozgov + Russell is basically the same of Lopez though. Brooklyn about to trade Lin or they're not going to eat Parker contract i guess... @The Cat

Dumb ass Nets helping the Lakers for their mistake.

Lost Lopez, lost #27, took on the terrible contract of Timofey Mozgov but added D'Angelo Russell.

    Good deal for LA.

Picked up a draft pick and cleared the cap space next season that they need. They have to make room for lebron

Lakers were very very down on Russel because of his behaviour issues. And not just what happened with Nick Young other stuff too.

Perhaps they could have found another team to send Brolo but seems like they intend to keep him. I wonder if they think except of PG they can also get someone else in free agency. Is CP3 possible?

It makes it clear they're drafting a PG. They had to move Russell if that's the case. In doing so they added a C who's good enough to be in a team's big 3.
