I'm down for this. I think the only reason why this Raid guy hasn't taken off is because his English isn't very good. Furthermore, Summer Glau is bad luck. Edit: It's a series!? I thought this was a movie.
Definitely don't go in expecting anything. Just got done with episode 2, and honestly, everything feels terrible lmao. Acting is bad. CGI is bad. The plot doesn't make any sense, and it's a slow burn, at that. I'm going to see it through, but maaaaan I sure hope it gets better.
Just finished all 10 episodes. Honestly, I can't see this show going beyond this season. The plot doesn't exactly do itself any favors - everything seemed to be tied up in a neat little bow, by season's end. No cliffhanger, no introduction of a possible season 2 villain, etc. Overall, I'd give this show a 2/10, and I even came into the series pretty hyped about it, so that should tell you something. It's saved from a 0/10 only due to the martial arts. I would talk at length about my score for this show if anyone is interested. But I definitely don't recommend this show, at all. Even to the biggest martial arts fan.
Sometimes I can't decide if Summer Glau is hot or not. Idk if it's due to whatever she's in turns to crap.

It's an awful show with **** dialouge and acting. I couldn't finish episode 2. and I'm the biggest Iko Uwais fan.
I just started this Lol that the characters actually ride the trolley in San Francisco This is cheesy but it’s super entertaining like a dragon ball z way
She's in the last two episodes but really doesn't do anything, though, for the story. Her character just needed to be there as an embodiment for one of the elemental Wu (in this case, Metal, I believe). Literally you could have asked a non-actor to play her role, and you'd be none the wiser. She was in there mainly for the woman-to-woman kiss between her and Kathryn Winnick. At least Wu Assassins knows EXACTLY who their target audience is.
I watched twenty mins of it. It was what I thought it was. I wish his close quarters fighting was more fluid. It seemed like someone was mashing combo buttons in a rythmic way. X-X-Y-Y-B-X-X Does it get better over time? Hmm the Daredevil crew is unemployed. How bout they pick up the fight choreographer... I'll prob watch it piece by piece like a YouTube clip until I can't take it anymore and hope they blow things up for S2
