Surprised there's no thread on this yet? anyway, binged it last night, fantastic stuff. I'm a big Groundhog Day fan anyway, but this is really well done and superbly filmed. If you like time travel-type things, you'll love this.
I enjoyed it quite a bit but probably not for everyone. Quirky characters, wierd plot, etc. I enjoyed Natasha Lyonne acting.
This is a really great show. Probably one of the best of 2019. It's also very bingeable with the less than 30 minute episodes. Natasha Lyonne should definitely win some awards for this one.
We binged the entire thing a few weeks ago, we both really liked it. Curious to see if they do another season, I wasn't quite sure what to make of the ending.....
TBH, in the trailers the main character, a chain-smoking east-coast brash woman, was not in the least bit interesting to me so I passed. I figured it was sort of a setup for a redemption story ala Groundhog day, but still not interested.
my understanding is that their initial pitch to Netflix was for three seasons. So I expect we'll season two in another year or so, especially since Natasha Lyonne is one of the executive producers who has put the show together
