Just finished Season 4. Can't quite place it but seems like the vibe was slightly different. Didn't matter because it was very good anyway. In prior seasons, the episodes were so "filling" I would only watch one per day. This time I had no problem digesting all 6 over 2 days. The dialogue they give Alfie Solomons is top notch and Tom Hardy is just great. If history is any indication, Season 5 will release the summer of 2019.
I thought the last few episodes were lacking. It just ended abruptly with the sending away of Micheal and the whole Gengretti thing. The dialogue in episodes 1-4 were great though.
Enjoyed the season but something was lacking and can’t put my finger on it. Many memorable scenes especially in the first 2 episodes! Something about toms personality and how it stays the same a lot of the times or how he has the same expression for everything is weird but not a major issue... Will update later More with spoilers: I’m getting very tired of Tom Hardy’s acting especially that half drugged face and speech he does in like every role now...I’m glad he’s sent off. Adrian Brody was pretty good in this one!
Finished season 4 a couple of weeks ago. Was it because Brody's character felt a little cartoonish? I had mixed feelings about the way he played his character in the beginning. It was like the producers called Brody last minute if he wanted to join the cast. Brody said, " yes, I'm not doing much besides reading poetry" and just watched vito corleone on a loop for 30 hours straight. By the end, I ended up liking Brody's Luca. If we're being honest Alfie is a little over the top as well.

Brit TV industry is ridiculously lazy. Something like six episodes and they take the rest of the year off. Yet their actors continue to steal murcan jerbs! Sad.
LOL! My bad y'all. I bumped the thread because someone told me about the show recently and I binged on it. I wanted to make other people aware of how great the show is in case they didn't know about it.
Sorry for the bump, but just chiming in with my appreciations for the show. Started watching it about 2-3 weeks ago and went through all 4 seasons. Wasn't a big fan of season 3. Season 4 raised the stakes with more suspense and I really enjoyed it the most.
Maybe I should try this show. I tried once, but it was right after surgery and I was high on painkillers so I couldn't figure out what the eff was going on. I couldn't even understand what people were saying. Good times.
It is a phenomenal show, and I would 100% say you should give it another shot. It's honestly one of the best shows in production.
