We've been enjoying this show as well. I always liked both of these actresses from way back. I mentioned it in the "what are you watching" thread.

Ricky Gervais' "After Life" Netflix show is very good as well.

Binge watching this. This is one ****ed up dark comedy. You keep thinking it can't get any worse...........and you'd be wrong.

Finally got around to watching this mainly because of this thread. It was really good. Great work from the two lead actresses.

    I’m two episodes into this.

Where is the comedy part? I get the dark. Seems like a drama to me....

I'd watch the first episode just for Linda Cardellini, alone. Glad to hear the show is actually good.

I liked it. Dark humor is hard to pull off and this is the next best thing to Santa Clarita diet fo4 me.

Watched the first episode which was pretty promising, but it's kinda heavy. Not exactly a Netflix-and-chill kinda show.

    I finished this.

Still found there to be almost 0 comedy to the whole thing. It's a drama.

It was ok. specific comments spoilered

    * the money laundering thing is just way too convenient. And frankly off character for the Steve character

    * the whole broader story is just a little predictable. That Judy was the driver - not a big shock. That Steve was there - not surprising. That Jen's husband was cheating on her - not surprising. That the 14 year old has problems - not surprising. That it ends with Jen killing Steve - not surprising. The only different part, as noted, is the money laundering thing, which isn't that unique and as noted seemed off character anyway. They're just trying to thing how do we fit these stories together? In other words, it's like "meh, this is kind of a middle of the road approach to script writing"

We're almost done. I've found it hilarious at parts. Applegate's character has a sense of humor similar to my wife's, and maybe that's why I find it hilarious.
