Screw worrying about mvp race or worrying about homecourt advantage in the finals this early. I wanna see spurs lose. So i guess id prefer celtics here Kyrie is on fire right now
durant gets injured last year = warriors still good because steph and klay pick up the slack curry gets injured this year = warriors still good because durant and klay pick up the slack this is why steph and durant should never be in mvp talks as long as they play together.
And this is essentially why durant‘s rings have zero value. I mean sure he has the ring itself but the only value of the ring is this „i made it“ feeling and it lost that value to me the moment he decided to go to gsw. Only losers respect KD and the sad part is, he knows it which is the reason he acts like he does as of late.
Team ranking to me: Golden state Gap Rockets (until we prove otherwise, we 2nd) Big gap Cavs, spurs (kawhi healthy) Huge gap Celtics Gap Everyone else
KD was on a team with both Westbrook and Reggie Jackson. How the hell did he win MVP with the 2 biggest idiots in the NBA? Reggie Jackson had 4 wide open teammates and he went up against 2 guys that were 6'7 and 3 other Warriors camping the paint. IDIOT
the spurs are like the anti-rockets. i know the spurs use the mid-range, but it almost feels like they are purposely avoiding 3's and layups. they only seem to take mid-rangers. granted, the celtics D probably has something to do with that.
No, we definitely want the Celtics to lose. We have to think big-picture here. We are confident the Rockets will represent the West in the NBA Finals this year, and the Celtics right now have a better record than the Spurs, so we need the Celtics to lose. We want home court in the NBA Finals.
I know the Spurs will come back, but it's great watching Pop explode at what's happening on the floor. IMO, it's much more likely the Spurs will be a bigger obstacle in the WC playoffs than the Celtics in the Finals. Not only are the Rockets more likely to meet the Spurs during a championship run, the Spurs clearly a bigger threat to beat the Rockets in a series (with Kawhi).
