watching the Lakers and Knicks is exactly why I’m so grateful we have a superstar like Harden and don’t have to go through these types of seasons Who knows when the Lakers and Knicks will actually be good again? If the Lakers don’t do it big in free agency next summer then they’re screwed. The Knicks are a lost cause.
Lakers screwed up royally. Magic didn't offer of ingram for Paul george, then magic traded Russell to get rid of mozgovs contract. Smh Russell has a higher upside than lonzo Russell will be an all star this year in the east... watch
That's what playing the Lakers will do for you. Weren't the Rockets beating them by 40-something points in a game at Toyota Center last year?
So I guess the dumb negativity doesn't stop with the Rockets, now Shaq & Barkley feel that on the Thunder Melo and PG take too many shots and Blake Griffin shooting threes and not getting 24-25 points [like he did] is something they don't like?! Must be hard for EJ to run that show, because damn those guys are just old men who just refuse to accept today's game. Also, Kenny with another great observation of OKC's defense stating: A) they will switch everything and B) will not double-team because they are athletic, big & believe in themselves. On the Knicks there's nobody you would even need to double-team so that's a first mistake the smart mouth made. Second, they actually double-teamed right before the travel so they did double-team. As far as switching goes, nobody in his right mind would say it's smart to put Westbrook on KP in that situation. Just the ball bounced the way it did and went off of KP, does not that mean it's good strategy. Two small examples Kenny used to sound smart when in fact it's situational and even wrong.
Why is the TnT broadcast overhyping Ball? Was that Webber? "Ball this, Ball that ..." The truth is: he didn't look any good. He hustled a lot, that's about it.
Blake Griffin will be dangerous this season, shooting 50% from 3 since preseaon. Good to see him adding more stuff to his offensive arsenal, relies far less on athleticism now.
He was the #2 pick and he plays in LA. Like him or hate him, he's gonna get hyped all season long. Especially with so many damn Laker games on national TV and with his dad having a big mouth.
"It was the perfect storm in the wrong direction for Lonzo. Of all people, Patrick Beverley. Why couldn't he have James Harden guarding him?" - Jackie MacMullan
