General rules are similar to this one.

    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=238465

This time it's two conferences. People are randomly assigned to a conference (East or West) and they draft players from there. 65 mil cap.

Rules are up for discussion until we start.
    I suggest:
Trades between conferences aren't possible until round 6. Lets maintain a conference feel until key players are drafted.

Also, considering the delays, I suggest no night time. 2 hours per pick and that's it.
And I suggest sort of a Horry-2 rule. If you post within an hour before your pick, you only have an hour to pick. I want to avoid situations where someone is online, posts 10 minutes before their pick and then sits there for 2 hours making everyone wait or goes off. We are having quite a few of those. If someone needs to go off right before their pick, email picks.

Another question: do we have an all-time round 1. Essentially, two scenarios:

    1. Just current NBA. Two conferences. 65 mil cap.

    2. Cap is 50 mil. Round 1 is All-Time. You draft Jordan or some other retired player to build around. He's your "franchise player". He doesn't count towards cap.
I guess we'd do this based on conferences as well to make it fair, i.e. Jordan would be East, Hakeem would be West. We'd figure the specifics out.

Anyway, sign up if you want. I don't really want to start today. If there are enough signups, we'll start this weekend.

Lebron would ideally make that list. Would he then count against the cap?

I don't really like the conference but I will play by any rules the majority decides on.

Now can 1 more person vote for my team in the other draft so we can be done with that thread.

Ilk take slot 13, and hotter for the west...

How do we decide who's west and who's east? Odds and evens? Or top8 and bottom 8?

I also vote against an all time round, to much...

If its all time, I could theoretically pair an all time great and lebron if I get the last spot? That seems unfair. Didn't think about that when I voted yes. That's essentially 2 first rounders in an all time draft

Also, do we randomize for west east and than re randomize for draft order, or agree to a conference and draft order design and randomize once?
